Age of Empires III (AOE III) is a real-time strategy (RTS) game developed by Microsoft Corporation's Ensemble Studios and published by Microsoft Game Studios. Released on October 18, 2005 in North America and November 4, 2005 in Europe, it is the third game of the Age of Empires series and the sequel to Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings. The game portrays the European colonization of the Americas, between approximately 1500 and 1850 CE (expanded in Age of Empires III: The WarChiefs to 1876). Eight European civilizations are playable.

Age of Empires III has made several innovations in the series, in particular with the addition of the "Home City", which combines real-time strategy and role-playing game features. The title belts are also displayed in the entrances realistically (i.e. if The Rock held the title, he would carry it to the ring and toss it above his head in his salute to the people, as opposed to wearing the belt on his shoulder or around his waist). The belts move according to natural physics, as well. For wrestler entrances, most of the themes used in the televised and house shows Jim Johnston, remakes of Johnston's originals from bands such as Breaking Point Our Lady Peace (for Chris Benoit), and Saliva (for The Dudley Boyz) were featured. Global Operations comes along at a time when the gaming public has been screaming for a true squad based FPS. Medal of Honor was Great, but lacked the control of a squad sized unit. Return to Castle Wolfenstein suffered from the same affliction, both are great FPS games but are based on the actions of a single soldier. G.O. (Global Operations) supplies the same level of great graphics and linear mission Gameplay, but based on a squad sized unit which you are but a single member of. The completion of the given mission does not hinge solely on your actions, but upon the actions of the entire squad. Let me explain further, the squad is composed of several specialized members. There is the Heavy Gunner (close to medium range contact with a heavy machine gun, useful for covering advance of the other squad members, and for suppressing enemy fire), Commando (close range, usually the first into a firefight, armed with rifles and submachine guns), Demo Man (responsible for destroying targets with high explosives, lightly armed and fast), Recon (responsible to scout ahead and locate enemy positions, armed with submachine gun and thermal or night vision opticals, fast), Medic (lightly armed and responsible for reaching downed and incapacitated members of the squad with medical aid), Sniper (armed with a high powered sniper rifle capable of taking out the enemy from a distance). Depending on the mission, each member of the squad has a role to play, covering the advance of the Demo man as he places charges on a target for example. If no one covers him and the charges do not reach the target then the mission is a failure. Interfaced commands to the other squad members helps keep everyone together and headed for the same objective, but covering each other is the key to a successful mission, you cannot go off on a "Rambo" style killing spree and expect to complete the mission, it doesn't work in real life and it doesn't work in G.O. either.

G.O. immerses the player in several real world locations that include Mexico, Chechnya, Sri Lanka, Beirut and the South China Seas. These locations are very realistic and full of rich textures and amazing details. They tend to set a specific mood for the mission. Players then will have to choose to play as a member of one of over 25 elite fighting forces based on authentic special forces, peace keepers, rebels and guerilla forces.

There are several innovative features to this game that were unexpected and not yet found in any other FPS game I have played to date. First, footsteps have different tones for different surfaces, for example, gravel, concrete, and wood floors all sound different. Second is the effects of explosives, if a flash grenade goes off close to you, you get a white screen, temporarily blinding you, then the sound goes dead except for a buzzing simulating the ringing in your ears. This is exactly the effect an actual flash grenade would have, temporarily stunning your senses and making near impossible for you to detect approaching enemy troops. Very nice! Also, being hit with a Gas grenade without a gas mask has a nice blinking, blurry effect that is similar to the effects of an actual CS gas, again making it very hard to effectively continue the fight.

Global Operations features 32 weapons and assorted equipment: handguns, shotguns, submachine guns, assault rifles, machine guns, sniper rifles, body armor, night and thermal vision goggles, knives, timed and remote C4 explosives, grenades (HE, Gas, Flash), LAW rocket launchers, scopes, suppressors, extra capacity magazines, laser sights, TAC lights, and more. With this kind of arsenal at your disposal, you can do some serious damage! They even give you the option of a selector switch for automatic weapons, giving you control over your rate of fire. You may select between single shot, burst, or full auto, this comes in handy when you want to conserve ammo, or control a weapon that jumps around a lot in full auto. Of course your primary weapons indictated by the specialty you select to play as. But if your primary weapon should run out of ammo, you may pick up any dropped weapon and continue the fight.

Multiplayer over the Internet is available and I have played it. Basically the play is the same as single player mode except that the other players are now real people. The missions and objectives are the same. This may be the weak point in the game, it plays well but we need to get some map builders out there working on this game. Multiplayer mode will only improve with time, keep in mind that this is a team game and communication is critical. The other thing I found, or rather didn't find was any kind of game lobby where a player could see what specialties the other players were playing as. This would be helpful, who wants to go in not knowing what his other team mates are doing or who he is supporting. Access to the map during play would be helpful too.

Is this game worth the $30.00 asking price? You bet, this game grabs you and drags you in. The graphics and sounds are all top rate. The varied missions keep your attention. This game gets four paws up from the Ovaldog!

Max Payne 3 is an upcoming third-person shooter video game developed by Rockstar Vancouver and published by Rockstar Games to be released at the last quarter of 2009^[3]^[4] for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.^[5] This is the first game in the series not to be developed by the Finnish game developer Remedy Entertainment and not being written by creator, Sam Lake.^{[citation needed]}

Plot

According to Rockstar's Sam Houser, they are starting a new chapter of Max's life with the game. "This is Max as we've never seen him before, a few years older, more world-weary and cynical than ever." Since the last game, the press release states Max has left New York behind and has "drifted from bad to worse". The press release then goes on to say Max has been double-crossed in this new city and he is searching for the truth and a way out.

A recent issue of Game Informer has revealed that the story is set 12 years after the last game. Payne has been cut loose from the NYPD, and has moved to São Paulo, Brazil where he's taken up employment in the private security sector, working for a wealthy local family.

The player takes on the role of Tommy Vercetti, a Mafia hitman released from prison after serving 15 years for killing 11 men.^[3] The Mafia family for whom he used to work, the Forellis, fears that Tommy's presence in Liberty City will heighten tensions and bring unwanted attention upon their criminal activities.^[4] To prevent this, they ostensibly "promote" Tommy and send him to Vice City to act as their buyer for a series of cocaine deals.^[5] During Tommy's first meeting with the drug dealers, an ambush by an unknown party results in the death of Tommy's bodyguards Harry and Lee and the dealer, Victor Vance. Tommy narrowly escapes with his life, but he loses both the Forelli's money and the cocaine.^[6]

Vercetti is tasked with retrieving the money and cocaine and killing whoever was responsible for the ambush.^[7] Towards this end, he follows leads of Forelli lawyer Ken Rosenberg and contacts mid-level drug dealer and ex-military Colonel Juan Garcia Cortez, British record producer Kent Paul, real estate mogul Avery Carrington and a local criminal named Lance Vance.^[8] Vance is eventually revealed to be helping Vercetti as his brother and business partner was the dealer killed in the ambush, and he too is seeking revenge.^[9] Vercetti subsequently begins to do jobs for Cortez before being hired by Ricardo Diaz, a Colombian Drug Lord.^[10]

Suspicion for the ambush ultimately falls upon Diaz. Vercetti initially plans to continue the status quo to prepare for his own attack, but his hand is forced when Lance Vance attempts to take revenge himself. The two proceed to raid Diaz's mansion and kill him in his office. With Diaz dead, his empire quickly crumbles. Tommy and Lance personally take over Diaz's businesses becoming Vice City's cocaine kingpins and seizing the assets of several near-bankrupted companies.

Tommy becomes the head of his own organization, the Vercetti Gang. The more powerful and rich Tommy becomes, the more Lance begins to exhibit paranoid sociopathic behaviors, to the point that he begins to physically abuse his own bodyguards and constantly calls Tommy in states of hysteria. and

The Forellis find out that Tommy has taken over crime in Vice City without sending a cut to the don as required. The Forellis send collectors to force money out of Tommy's assets, although Tommy disposes of them. An angered Sonny Forelli arrives in Vice City with a small army of mafiosi and street thugs, intent on wiping out Tommy once and for all. When Sonny and his henchmen arrive at the Vercetti Estate, Tommy attempts to bribe them with counterfeit money. However, Lance, having come to resent Tommy's substantial share of their profits, betrays Tommy and allies himself with the Forellis. In the game's climax -- a pastiche on the end of the Brian De Palma film Scarface -- Lance, Sonny, and Sonny's henchmen raid Tommy's mansion. Tommy kills Lance on the roof and storms downstairs where he faces off with Sonny. Sonny reveals he is the one who set Tommy up and had him kill the eleven men who were expecting him. Tommy faces off against Sonny in a large, climatic gun battle, eventually killing him as well. His enemies vanquished, Tommy establishes himself as the undisputed crime kingpin of Vice City, with Ken Rosenberg, who has worked with Tommy throughout the events of the game, as his right-hand-man.

Red Faction takes place on Mars around the year 2075. Earth’s minerals are being depleted and humans need more of them to survive. The vast Ultor Corporation runs the mining operation on Mars. The living conditions are deplorable, human rights for the miners are few and a disease called "The Plague" is running rampant throughout the colony with no known antidote available - predominantly within the confines of the mine complex. Parker, a downtrodden miner, came to Mars to make a new start in his life - taken in by the promises and advantages Ultor has to offer in the mines of Mars. After a routine day in the mine with the typical aggression toward miners and cramped living conditions and poor nutrition, he witnesses the spark that starts a rebellion security guard abuses a miner at the end of his shift and heartlessly kills him.^[3] Parker takes up arms, with the help of Hendrix, a rebellious Ultor security technician who guides Parker through the complex. Hendrix tries to get Parker to join up with a group of miners who are about to steal a supply shuttle and escape the complex. Parker arrives too late. The shuttle takes off but is destroyed by missiles.^[4]

Parker traverses through the Ultor complex, eliminating any resistance Ultor throws at him, and even kidnapping a high-ranking Ultor administrator, Gryphon, for Eos, leader of the Red Faction.^[5] Parker learns from Gryphon about Dr. Capek, who created "The Plague". Capek has been experimenting with nanotechnology, and the Plague is a side-effect of injections at the miners' annual medical checkup. Hendrix directs Parker to Capek's secret underground laboratory, where he and Eos meet up and take down Capek. Before Capek dies, he tells Eos how to cure the Plague.^[6] After sending a distress call to the Earth Defense Force, Parker stows away on a shuttle to an Ultor space station in Martian orbit to deactivate a laser defense system.^[7]

After destroying the space station, Parker lands back on Mars via an escape pod, Ultor brings out its reserve of mercenaries to help them in their fight against the miners. Hendrix tells Parker that the mercenaries have orders to destroy the mining complex, covering up any proof of Ultor's wrongdoing, Hendrix is killed soon after this by the mercenaries. After fighting his way through the mercenary base, Parker confronts Masako, the mercenary leader. After he kills Masako, Parker sees that Eos is tied up and sitting on the floor next to the bomb, which has been set to explode. After deactivating it, the Earth Defense Force arrives just in time to save Parker and Eos from a fighter aircraft. Eos tells Parker that an antidote for the Plague has been made and it is being given to any sick miners. She also tells him she is leaving Mars, and that Parker should enjoy his new status as a hero.

OnLive is an on-demand video game platform, announced at the Game Developers Conference in 2009.^[1] The service is a gaming equivalent of cloud computing: the game is synchronized, rendered, and stored on a remote server and delivered online. The service was announced to be compatible with any Windows PC running Windows XP or Windows Vista, or any Intel-based

Mac running OS X.^[2] A low-end computer, as long as it can play video, may be used to play any kind of game since the game is computed on the OnLive server. For that reason, the service is being seen as a strong competitor for the console market.^[3]^[4] Thus, Engadget states that "Broadband connections of 1.5 Mbps dials the image quality down to Wii levels while 4-5 Mbps pipes are required for HD resolution." The average broadband connection speed in the US at the end of 2008 was 3.9 Mbps, while 25% of US broadband connections were rated faster than 5 Mbps.^[5]

It was announced that Electronic Arts, Take-Two, Ubisoft, Epic Games, Atari, Codemasters, THQ, Warner Bros., 2D Boy and Eidos Interactive have signed up to have their PC games available on the service.^[6] Sixteen game titles are currently available from the OnLive service.^[7] The service is currently in closed beta with plans to have an open beta during the summer of 2009. The service is planned for release in the winter of 2009.

TEKKEN 5-STORY

Mere moments after Jin's departure from Hon-Maru, helicopters start to approach the Dojo. The noise wakes Heihachi and Kazuya up, and moments later, a squadron of Jack-4's burst through the walls. The Jack-4's poration, who no longer need Kazuya and now want him dead.

Heihachi and Kazuya team up to fight the Jack-4s, and bring down scores of the androids together. But Heihachi starts to lose his strength. Kazuya takes advantage of this, and throws his father into the Jack-4's, who pile up on him while Kazuya morphs into his Devil form and escapes in triumph. Seconds later, Hon-Maru blows up. The only witness to the blast is a mysterious agent clad in black, known as Raven, who declares Heihachi dead into his communicator. Raven is attacked by a Jack-4, which he swiftly slices in half.

The next day, Heihachi's death is declared all over the world (unknown to everyone, Heihachi is still alive), and everyone foresees the end of the Mishima Zaibatsu. However, someone else has already taken over the company and business continues as usual. Two months later, the King of Iron Fist Tournament 5 is announced.

Meanwhile, Jin Kazama's Devil Gene is going berserk, and he decides to search for the one responsible for the change by entering the tournament. Kazuya also enters to find out exactly who in G Corporation sent the Jack-4's to kill him, and take his revenge.

As Jin and Kazuya progress through the tournament, the secret sponsor is finally revealed: Jinpachi Mishima, the father of Heihachi and who has been missing for the past Thirty years. As it turns out, Jinpachi is the founder of the Mishima Zaibatsu and was a respected martial arts master until his greedy son, Heihachi, stole the company from him and had him imprisoned underneath Hon-Maru after Jinpachi attempted a Coup d'état (Heihachi was steering the company into the military industry, something Jinpachi believed was not right). Jinpachi died soon afterwards of starvation, until the Devil took over his mind and granted him immortality (as well as a Devil Gene), and Jinpachi was finally freed from his prison when the Jack-4's destroyed Hon-Maru. As of now, the Devil Gene is slowly consuming Jinpachi's mind, and Jinpachi has announced the tournament in hopes that someone will kill him and put an end to his reign of terror before it even starts.

In the end, Jin makes it to the final, and faces his Devil-powered great-grandfather in combat. Ultimately, Jin manages to defeat Jinpachi, who dissolves into dust and disappears, his wish fulfilled. Jin is now the new owner of the Mishima Zaibatsu.

Midnight Club-Story

A 30-year-old man from the East Coast moves to Los Angeles. The character, only known as "Player", takes a major role in the game. In the intro of the game, he is on the phone with the, unknown at the time, Los Angeles City Champ, Booke, telling him to meet at a fast-food restaurant named Carney's Express Limited. He hooks the protagonist character up with three cars, one to pick, in the beginning of the game: a 1998 Nissan 240SX, 1983 Volkswagen Golf GTI, or 1988 Volkswagen Scirocco.

Early in the game, the protagonist character asks Booke saying if someone can help him with his car. After a few missions, the character receives a call from a Russian man, from Moscow, named Karol, who plays a big part throughout the game, telling him that he is welcome to use his garage, Hollywood Auto, as a safehouse where the character can buy and sell new vehicles, paint the vehicle, upgrade the engine, or any other thing the character wants to do to his vehicle. Shortly after, the character meets Annie, who has earned a reputation as one of the finest drivers in the city. Karol calls introducing him to Delivery Missions, where he must deliver cars with very little damage in a certain amount of time. After that the character is introduced to "Time Trials" where he has a certain amount of time to make his way around the city in a certain vehicle. The first vehicle the character uses is a 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse. After each and every time trial, someone calls saying that it has been beaten, meaning the character must do it again, sometimes even more than twice. With many time trials, payback missions and regular races, Annie calls saying to race these people at the 7-Eleven in Santa Monica.

Around 70% completed, the character meets an overenthusiastic young man named Andrew. After a few races with Andrew and other missions to build rep and money, with City Optional Races with no major character involved, Booke calls the character about a payback mission where a man named Jin owes Booke money, and the character have to take his car out. After the mission, where Jin is released from the hospital Booke calls and says that they have been challenged to a Team-Ordered race between Jin and Andrew. After the race, the Los Angeles Police Department has starts going after the street racers, and they chase the character in a mission called "Lose the Cops", where the character must race from an abandoned gas station to Carneys without the cops noticing. During the mission Booke calls and says that if he doesn't come back and get him, "they're done with each other". Later after, Andrew calls saying that he wants to race in his 1995 Mazda RX-7. Later Annie calls again saying to race her in her new Ford Shelby Cobra Concept. After, Andrew calls the character, in a very bad mood, saying "Well if it isn't Mr. Big Win, you think you're so good using your foot to step down on a pedal, yeah yeah. Now let's see how well you do on a bike! Get your hands on a motorcycle and get some rep out of it and then we'll talk!" He calls back saying that bikers want to race the character in a hangout downtown. After the tournament, five races and another city race, Andrew challenges the character in a 2006 Ducati 999R.

After the tournament, Booke says that the character needs to have the right to race him, now that he is interested because he has made a fine reputation, by racing the District Class Champs: Tommy, Leon, and Laticia. Aside from the District Champ races, the character also begin a series of Class Champ races, one Champ he has to beat all five vehicle classes on the game from the characters Oswaldo, Julian, Lester, Pete, Marcel, which is part of the final part of the game. After the character beats the district champs, Booke calls saying he is impressed, and to meet him at the Standard Hotel for a race which ends up being the City Champ race vs. Booke and one of the final races on Career mode.

After all the Class Champs and the City Champ are beat, Karol later calls and asks for a proposition from the character. He asks him to get $1 million dollars to help co-own his two garages with him for his business. In return, since the character co-own the two garages with him, he lets the character have anything in the garages for free. This proposition also affects Doc's South Central garage although the game does not mention it.

After the character has completed 100% in LA in the PSP version, an unknown man somehow has reached his cell number, and calls saying that he wants to meet him at the Los Angeles International Airport on "his flight to Tokyo" then the character says "You talking about the Midnight Club?" After the call, the Tokyo career and map can be accessed in Midnight Club: LA Remix.

In the back of the Owner's Manual, for the main cast; Oswaldo's voice was a prank by one of Rockstar's representatives and said his voice name was "Pain in da ass".

The main story of Assassin's Creed takes place in September 2012; Desmond Miles, a bartender, is kidnapped by the company Abstergo Industries for use as a test subject in the "Animus", a device that can stimulate the recall of ancestral memories buried in the user's DNA. Abstergo intends to put Desmond in the device to recall the role of his ancestor, Altaïr Ibn La-Ahad (الطائر ابن لا أحد, Arabic: "The Flying One, Son of None", "The Bird, Son of None", or "Bird of Prey, Son of None"), in the "Assassin Brotherhood" during 1191 as part of the Third Crusade in the Holy Land. Desmond at first has trouble adjusting to the device, but eventually is able to relive Altaïr's exploits over the next several days. Much of the core game is then presented from Altaïr's point-of-view as seen by Desmond, though at times interrupted by glitches resulting from the Animus.

At the start of the memories, Altaïr is shown attempting to retrieve a "Piece of Eden", a strange artifact, from Solomon's Temple with the help of other assassins, but is stopped by Robert IV de Sablé, a member of the Knights Templar and sworn enemies of the assassins. While retrieving the treasure, Altaïr breaks all three tenets of the Assassin's Creed within the opening minutes of gameplay to attempt to kill de Sablé, but fails. Upon returning to Masyaf, Al Mualim (المعلم, "The Teacher"), leader of the Assassins, demotes Altaïr to an initiate, making him a novice again and giving him another chance to rise through the ranks of the Brotherhood. To this end, Al Mualim assigns Altaïr the task of assassinating nine key figures across the Holy Land in Jerusalem, Acre Damascus, to attempt to bring peace between the Crusaders and Saracen and forces.

Altaïr methodically completes each task, learning that each target is connected to Robert and the Templars and share their mysterious goals. As he completes each of the assassinations, he finds out that the Templars are trying to trick the Muslim and Christian forces to work together and face a common enemy, the assassins, as to bring peace and unity to the world. Altaïr's final target, de Sablé, reveals in his dying words that Al Mualim is himself a member of the Knights Templar, and used Altaïr to kill the other members so he could keep the treasure for himself. Altaïr quickly returns to Masyaf to accost his master. Al Mualim reveals the truth; the Piece of Eden which he had received from one of the men in the Temple after Altaïr's transgression, creates illusions, and he denounces religion and other seemingly supernatural events (i.e. the parting of the Red Sea, Jesus turning water into wine, Greek gods being involved in the Trojan War) as illusions caused by it. He then states his intention to use the artifact to compel mankind into a brainwashed state and so bring an end to conflict. Altaïr is eventually able to see through deceptions created by the artifact to kill Al Mualim. When Altaïr recovers the artifact, the Piece of Eden activates, showing a holographic view of the world with numerous locations of other Pieces of Eden marked across the globe.

Driving through Carbon Canyon in route to Palmont City, a flashback of what seems to be a race against Kenji, Angie, and Wolf comes to the player's mind. A police incident at the end of the race forces the player to make a hasty escape from Palmont. In present day, former Police Sergeant now turned bounty hunter Cross in his Chevrolet Corvette chases the player down the canyon ^[6] leading to his BMW M3 GTR being totaled. Shortly before Cross can arrest the player, Darius and his crew arrive. Darius gives Cross 10,000 dollars, and the player meets up with Nikki, an ex-girlfriend, on bad terms.^[7]

Darius tells the player with the help of Nikki to clean up his image by beating the rival racing crews to gain territory and to reclaim his reputation as a respected street racer in Palmont. Winning races one by one, the player acquires territories and ultimately districts from Kenji (Tuners), Angie (Muscle cars), and Wolf (Exotics). Beating each racer one by one, the player meets up with racers who want to join the player's crew; several of the defecting crew members slowly reveal their observations regarding the night the player took off from Palmont.^[8]

Owning all three districts, Darius asks the player to meet up with him, where he reveals he was just using the player all along to get more territory. When Darius leaves, the player, on the brink of being arrested by Cross, is saved by Nikki who tells him that she now realizes everything that happened months ago after piecing together her view of the night and the viewpoints of the other racers.^[9] Realizing that Darius was ultimately liable for the player's fall that fateful night, the Player attempts to conquer Silverton, and oust Darius and his "Stacked Deck" crew, to clean up the player's reputation once and for all.^[10]

Winning races against "Stacked Deck", the player gets his chance to meet Darius in the canyon. But he tells the player that he will, again, have to beat the previous three bosses in the canyons to battle him. Beating them, the player ultimately fights Darius and defeats him. Knowing the rules, Darius hands over his Audi Le Mans Quattro"enjoy it while it lasts, there's always someone out there who's a little faster than you are, and sooner or later they're gonna catch up.

Welcome to San Andreas...

Grove Street Families are a diminishing gang in Los Santos, San Andreas. Everyday, their men get capped, the Ballas gain strength and Grove Street get weaker. Things have slowly gotten worse since Carl Johnson (Grove Street OG) left Los Santos for a new life in Liberty City five years ago. Sweet is Carl's older brother, and heads up the Grove Street gang. Sweet blames Carl for the death of their younger brother Brian who was involved in an unfortunate accident all those years ago. Lack of weaponary, poor health because of drugs, a rapidly decreasing rate of respect and betrayal--have all led to Grove Street's downfall. Grove Street OG's Big Smoke and Ryder, are trying to setup a new drug business with the Loco Syndicate. The Loco Syndicate is run by Mike Toreno, a shady CIA agent. Jizzy B and T-Bone Mendez are also involved. Sweet refuses to take part, saying that it would damage the hood.
LSPD's anti-gang unit

There is only one type of crime in Los Santos. Gang crime. It is upto Los Santos' anti-gang unit (known as C.R.A.S.H) to end gangbanging and keep the city under control. The unit is led by Officer Frank Tenpenny and includes Officer Eddie Pulaski, and the unit's newest recruit Jimmy Hernandez. Tenpenny and Pulaski are corrupt. The two cops believe that sometimes in order to get what you want, you have to work with the people you don't like, doing things that aren't exactly right. They pressurise Hernandez into killing Officer Ralph Pendelburry, who threatened to expose their methods.

In Liberty City - Carl Johnson is working for Joey Leone, and meanwhile Johnny Sindacco visits the Gentlemen's Club to offer Salvatore Leone stakes at a casino in Venturas. This involves Salvatore pledging $5,000,000 to the Sindacco's. The two gangs cannot decide who should run the casino and so Ken Rosenberg (once working with the Forelli's down in Vice) is put forward as a neutral party. Rosenberg is stuck in the middle of 3 mob families, and if one mob hits another, the opposition will eliminate Ken. Also in Venturas, Triads have purchased the Four Dragons Casino but the Sindacco's are looking to sabotage it's opening.

Balla OG's decide that it's time to finish off Grove Street. The plan is to cap Grove Street's leader, Sweet. The hit is made, but instead, Beverly Johnson is killed, and Sweet survives. Sweet calls Carl to announce his mother's death, and Carl begins a journey back to his home town in Los Santos. Carl is welcomed by Officer Tenpenny, who has bullied Carl since before his leave for Liberty City. Carl is escorted to Front Yard Ballas territory, and later thrown from a moving police car. Carl finds himself dragged back into the gang life that he apparently once tried to leave behind.
San Andreas is set in the early 1990's--a very important time in Los Angeles' history. The story focuses on the famous LA riots and the related rampart scandal.
